The following 4 tips are the basic things you need to have at the back of your mind before setting up your business:
1. Dream
The fact remains that everybody have the dream of setting up their own business but many lacks the dream of making this dreams come to reality. Meanwhile dreaming about setting up your dream business successfully, you must have to:
Be specific:
You must have to define and identified your dream that is your dream must be precise and clearly stated.
Let your dream be measurable:
You dream must be measurable, so you must thrive to measure up your dream so as to be able to reach the required standard.
Let your dream be realistic:
You must work towards achieving your dreams and plans.
Set time limit:
You must set out time within which you must achieve or make your dreams comes to reality.
So have a dream.

2. Vision:
The worst thing that can happen to a man is to have eyes and lack vision, so also businesses without a vision have no future. The most powerful force in life is the force of vision so thrive to have good vision for business and you will be inspire to discover, pursue and fulfill the vision of your aspiring business and maximize the potential trapped within your potential that was buried in the historical grave of low self-esteem and self-doubt.

3. Set a goal:

This is one of the most important aspects of successfully setting up of business because you must have to set a goal to achieve at the end of each production or service your business is set out for. You must clearly state the following while setting up goals for your business:
Your goal must be achievable:
You must set up a goal that you can achieve at a particular period of time you have set it for.

Set a long term goal
You must set some long term goal for your business.
Your goal must be attainable:
You must set out goal that you would succeed in achieving it.
So set a goal for your business.

4. Production:
This is the important aspect of setting up of successful business and the only physical phase of it.
Production is a process of making your dream, vision and goal you have set up for your business come to being.
In this last and the most essential phase of setting up of successful business, after the CAPITAL must have been in place. You must take the cognizance of the following:

Cost of production:
Every business has cost, this is the money invested in product and services.
Costing is the process of by which you calculate the total cost of producing goods, setting a product or providing services.

Marketing:
This is the process whereby you find out who your customers are and what they need and want to satisfy these needs and wants while making profits.

Note: that marketing your product is a continuous process, it never stop. 

Customer:

This is the most important part of production, because a customer is someone who buys goods and services you render from your business. So your customer must be treated as a GUEST.
Treating your customer as a guest can help you achieve customer service excellence in your business endeavor s.
Let’s examine what the acronym “guest” stands for:

Greet the customer:

Understand the customers need every customer that enter your business outfit has a need. Their need differ but they all have a common baseline. You are solution provider and when customers problems are solved you have put smile on their face and mind will be delighted with you have gain his/her patronage.

Thank the customer:
For given you the opportunity to serve him/her and because he/she is the one that put food on your table without patronage your business will not grow and expand, hence customer deserved a thank you.

Right attitude:
 Attitude affects our disposition and consequently the quality of service delivery. If your attitude is right then you get service right. Your customers are impresses by right attitude such as:
Cheerful disposition
Optimism
Enthusiasm
Upbeat personality
Welcoming behavior
Attention to details
Listening skills
Wiliness to help
Going extra mile
Empathy
Sincerity and integrity.
