As much as we all believe that Izal is the most largely
used disinfectant by both rich and poor in Nigeria today. In this wise, there
are needs to go into production of disinfectant so as to meet the demand of
Nigerians and also share the profit making with the producer of Izal.

tutorial on how to produce disinfectant

Production
procedure
To make 18 liters of disinfectant
·
Add half liters of carbolic acid in 10litres of
water and stir very well
·
Add half liters of phenol into the solution and
stir it also
·
Latter add liters of izal concentration and mix
it together
·
Mix 1kg of texapon with the remaining half of carbolic
acid in a small bowl before turning it into solution.
·
Finally add half liter of Lysol.
·
Mix this solution very well and add the
remaining water to make 18 liters.
·
Now your disinfectant is ready for packaging and
use.
Caution
·
Avoid direct hand contact with any chemical
while producing
·
Ensure the use of gloves and stirrer for
thorough mixing.
·
Avoid spill over during production
·
Ensure accurate measurement
To ensure quality
disinfectant note:

It must be foamy
·
It must be thick
·
It must be white
·
It must give lasting and refreshing odor.
Marketability
With the population of Nigeria today (140 million people)
only one company cannot meet the demand of Nigerians. Disinfectant can be sold
anywhere provided it is securely package. It is needed in hospitals, public toilets,
schools, homes and hotels. And with this you can see that marketing wise there
is a great demand for disinfectant.
