Liquid detergent soap is a kind of soap
used for cleaning or mopping floors, cooking utensils made of metal such as
plates, spoons, forks, pans e.t.c what
we need to know is that there is a great
difference between liquid detergent and powdered detergent and the chemical
application are quite different. In fact equipment used for production is also
not the same.
The specified quantities below are for are for production of twenty (20)
liters of liquid detergent.
Equipments required are as follows:
1. Plastic bowel or stainless steel mixer
2. Stirrer
3. Spoon
4. Containers, small pail
5. Graduated cylinder
Production chemicals:
- Water 20liters
- Nitrozoner (CMC) ¼
- Costic soda ¼
- Texerpol (put into costic soda and stir it)
- Lorel rice ¼
- Sulphuric acid 5 liters measurement
- Foaming booster
- Colorant 2 table spoon
- Perfume 1 lucozade bottle of lemon fragrance
(green colour)
Method of production:
Stage 1: clean your big bowel or
stainless steel mixer, turn in 10 liters of water into it.
Stage 2: add the surphuric acid into
Nitrozoner straight and mix.
Stage 3: add the mixture of texerpol and
costic soda into it.
Stage 4: add lorel rice
Stage 5: add foaming booster.
Stage 6: add colourant
Stage 7: add perfume
Stage 8: mix all together and start
stirring.
Stage 9: arrange your containers, using
funnel or pipe run the detergent solution into containers, allow it for 24hrs
after production and put on your label and ready for marketing.
Precautions:
Avoid direct hand contact with any
chemical while producing
Ensure the use of gloves and stirrer for
thorough mixing.
Avoid spill over during production
Ensure accurate measurement
Avoid adding to much colourant to the
mixture.
To ensure quality Liquid soap note:
It must be foamy
It must be well mixed
It must add adequate measurement of the
chemicals
It must give lasting and refreshing
odor.

With the population of Nigeria today
(140 million people) only one company cannot meet the demand of Nigerians. Liquid
soap can be sold anywhere provided it is securely package.

It is needed in hospitals, public
toilets, schools, home, laundry companies and hotels. And with this you can see
that marketing wise there is a great demand for liquid soap so long every home
have kitchen and toilets.
