An Ebonyi State federal lawmaker, Linus Okorie, has accused president Muhammadu Buhari of plotting the downfall of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
In a statement released on Monday, the PDP lawmaker said the plot would definitely fail.
He said the crisis in the house over budget padding accusations was uncalled for as the lawmakers has done nothing wrong.
He explained that the house has the constitutional powers to “amend, reduce from or add to” the budget brought forward by the executive and that that was what the lawmakers did.
He tongue lashed the State Security Services and other government agencies for sealing some offices in the National Assembly.
